Mansukh (aged 26) is a very energetic, jovial, and receptive young weaver from the village of Kotai in Bhuj, Gujarat. The idea of being an artisan designer-entrepreneurs has always been crystal clear in his mind. At present, he works with 10 other artisans from his village and is confident of increasing the number of such engagements to 50 in the next 3 years. He is one of the few from Kotai to learn the use of yarns outside of locally-available fibres such as linen and silk.
